【Personnel Announcement】Welcome Associate Professor Kuo Yao-Chen to the Faculty of the Department of Special Police

We are pleased to welcome Associate Professor Kuo Yao-Chen, who will join the Department of Special Police faculty starting August 1, 2024.
Associate Professor Kuo holds a Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Project Management from the University of Texas at Austin. He has previously served as the Director of Research and Development and the Head of the Curriculum Division at Kainan University. Additionally, he has extensive expertise in the academic research fields of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) management, Critical infrastructure protection, Risk management, Performance assessment and project control, Project management, R Language and data mining, Multiple criteria decision making, and Fuzzy theory. He also possesses rich management and teaching experience.
Associate Professor Kuo's extensive experience and professional knowledge will undoubtedly bring new vitality to our department's teaching and research, leading to more achievements and contributions, and providing endless inspiration for our students. Once again, we warmly welcome you to join us!
